+ Weighted Constraint Dependency Grammars

This is a list of the dependency grammars that have been written or are currently being written for the WCDG parsing system.

Old and Unmaintained

• PferdFrisstGrassGrammar: "Pferd frisst Grass" vs. "Grass frisst Pferd"
• RosaGrammar: a small grammar developed once uppon a time in a proseminar
• BerlinGrammar: a grammar developed in the first phase of Dawai by the project partners in Berlin Johannes Heinecken and Andreas Nolda.
• StellingenGrammar: the first more serious effort to cover a wider range of sentences (222) from the Verbmobil

Current work

• DeutschGrammar: a general dependency grammar for german There are two grammars derived from the DeutschGrammar.
  • HeiseGrammar: a grammar which might be used for InformationExtraction in the future
  • NegraGrammar: can we write a dependency grammar to parse this beast?
• EnglishGrammar: current work on a general dependency grammar.
• PennGrammar: this will be a dependency grammar able to parse at least section 21 from the WSJ
• DumbCzechGrammar: an attempt to bootstrap a czech grammar from a statistical corpus analysis only
