Possible future work on a general dependency grammar. There might be a general dependency grammar for english from which a PennGrammar is derived in the same way as it is done for the german dependency grammars. Right now we first aim to get the WSJ corpus into the WCDG system. And so no distinction between a dependency grammar for an apropriate dependency analysis of english and some dependency grammar that produces the WSJ annotations is made.
