News

• 2019-01: I now work in Saarbrücken.
• 2018-01: Our journal article about the Spoken Wikipedia Corpora has been accepted at LRE.
• 2017-04: Felix Hennig and I will have a paper at the Workshop on Universal Dependencies about treebank conversion using tree transducers. N.B.: this is the result of Felix' bachelor thesis!
• 2016-10: Our paper on predictive parsing for language modeling has been accepted for COLING 2016, see below.
• 2016-09: two new papers (repeval and konvens 2016, see below)
• 2016-04: Our Paper Mining the Spoken Wikipedia for Speech Data and Beyond has been accepted for LREC 2016. It presents the Spoken Wikipedia Corpora, time-aligned corpora of spoken wikipedia articles (>300h!)
• 2015-10: Timo and I will give a course about Incremental Speech and Language Processing for Interactive Systems at ESSLLI 2016 in Bolzano.
• 2015-07: My paper "What’s in an Embedding? Analyzing Word Embeddings through Multilingual Evaluation" has been accepted for EMNLP 2015 as a talk. See Publications.
• 2014-12: Timo and I gave a talk about our student's project at the 31C3. Very nice to be there again!
• 2014-10: We have started our new Bachelor's project on subtitle generation from transcriptions.
• 2014-06: I am currently visiting the Univerity of Southern California Institute for Creative Technology. I will be back in September am back

• jwcdg git repository - a reimplementation of cdg written in java. Done by NielsBeuck and me.
• our toolbox for working with incremental input&output&evaluation (mainly parsing). Tools for the cda format as used by the HDT.
