FAQ:
How can I print buffers from XEmacs without a header?
Answer:
Using the menu item
File::Print
in XEmacs invokes a2ps to print the file with a header showing your name, the current date etc. If you only want to see the file contents, here's what to do:
- First open an xemacs-tool.
- Open the .emacs-file.
- Then insert (add-to-list 'lpr-switches "--no-header") in the .emacs-window and save it.
- Now close the xemacs-tool .
- When you restart it now, you can print and the header doesn't occur.
