FAQ:

How can I print buffers from XEmacs without a header?

Answer:

Using the menu item File::Print in XEmacs invokes a2ps to print the file with a header showing your name, the current date etc. If you only want to see the file contents, here's what to do:

  1. First open an xemacs-tool.
  2. Open the .emacs-file.
  3. Then insert (add-to-list 'lpr-switches "--no-header") in the .emacs-window and save it.
  4. Now close the xemacs-tool .
  5. When you restart it now, you can print and the header doesn't occur.
