+ Internet And Gender

-- KerstinFischer - 29 Apr 2003

Very unequal numbers of female and male computer science students (e.g. 13% women in computer science at the University of Hamburg last year) suggest that women and men may differ regarding their usage of computers, and thus, the internet. On the other hand, IRC allows users to communicate with others without disclosing their gender. IRC and MUD may thus be quite interesting regarding gender.

This topic will be prepared and presented to us by Barbara, Antje and Jessica.
