Information fusion for command and control

Pontus Svenson, FOI Stockholm, Sweden

Abstract

The course will deal with how to use information fusion for command and control applications, including some applications for robotics. The course will cover the JDL model of data and information fusion, the relation to decision support systems, basic algorithms for tracking (including the particle filter), information fusion applications of fuzzy logic, evidence theory, and bayesian networks. Centralised versus decentralised fusion and control of robots will be briefly discussed. Several examples of applications will be given.
