Xcdg Client Connects

Description

The xcdgclient utility tries to connect the first best xcdg instance running on the X-server it has access to. Moreover it does not check if that instance has loaded a corresponding grammar containing the parsetree it tries to display. If xcdgclient has found an xcdg client it simply requests some wordgraph id to display it and if there's none, nothing happens.

So xcdgclient should (a) do a minimal test to prevent a silent failure and (b) don't fail silently if the test detects a mismatch.
