In this presentation I will give an overview on the Wiki concepts and technologies
and review its value in an academic environment. The NatsWiki itself is online now for nearly
four years and has evolved into a unified platform to support lecturing, enable
annotated biliographies, coordinate publications, bring together academic communities,
and for project management. Last not least every student is able
to play an active role by participating in a Wiki collecting additional material during lectures
and beyond as well as peer-reviewing contributions of colleagues.
