6. European dimension

By the inclusion in the "European Master Language and Speech",the program will be attractive for a lot of students Europe-wide.

Currently, the Master's program is offered in aprox. 15 Universities and the geographical allocation is not homogeneous.

The actual European Master in Language and Speech (EMA) has for many students a problem, that will be solved here: It is an additional qualification and no self-contained Master's program (MA or Msc.). EMA will be concluded with a certificate of the European chapter of the association for computational linguistics (EACL) and the International Speech communication association (ISCA). The main principle is that the universities are, by a confirmation of a teaching program in a part of the EMA curriculum, registered in the program. For the students is obligatory a foreign phase, as well as the participation in one of the organized EMA summer-school.
